Thunder Water Polo Junior Water Polo Programs (8th/6th Grade & Younger):Â The Junior Water Polo Program will have local weekly practices and plenty of competitions to improve their skills in the water.Â There will be a local league between various DFW area water polo programs AND optional, weekend tournaments for those interested (VERY similar to the fall season).Â The costs for the program include all practice and all league games.Â For weekend tournaments, there will be additional costs.Â All athletes are welcome (no experience necessary).
Thunder Water Polo High School Clinic Programs (9th-12th Grade Athletes):Â The Texas High School Water Polo season is during the spring and Thunder Water Polo supports all athletes playing and competing for their high school teams.Â Those playing for their high school teams are encouraged to participate in this program and work on their individual skills in this once a week program.Â The program for the 9th-12th grade athletes is designed as a compliment to those athletes playing on a high school team this spring.Â There will be no competitions for these athletes as they will be playing in weekly tournaments with thier high school teams.
Thunder Ducks (9th-12th Grade, High School Does NOT Play):Â This program is for those athletes who do NOT have a high school team to play with this spring.Â There are a many Thunder Water Polo athletes who do not have a high school team to play with and/or are new athletes who would like to enjoy the sport.Â With this program, all high school athletes will have the opportunity to continue to practice and compete this spring through this program.Â Â Â New athletes are welcome and encouraged to participate.Â These athletes will participate in 3-4 high school tournaments during the spring including the North Region HS Consolidated Championship at the conclusion of the spring season.
